Focus Group Market Research

One of the best-known and most effective qualitative market research methods, we use focus groups to engage a number of chosen respondents for your project. Using our experienced moderators, we’ll conduct a thorough discussion amongst carefully chosen participants to understand how your brand or product lands with your key audience.

MindMarket’s world wide range offers the possibility of truly bespoke service, so we’ll build a personalised research project for your brand. No two projects look the same, so we’ll start with an analysis of your brand to understand which research methods will fit you best.

How do focus groups work?

  • Group interviews with 3+ respondents (typically 4-6 for online interviews and 6-8 for in-person focus groups)

Where dyad and triad interviews offer a more personal discussion, focus groups allow you to get a more holistic view of how the public engages with your product. They are also a fantastic vehicle to build consent around your core questions.

At MindMarket, we can conduct focus groups either online or in person depending on your project and requirements. Effective focus groups are a great qualitative methodology to create new ideas and engage with a selected group of respondents in a creative process (for marketing or product development, for example) where ideas bounce off of each other and evolve into something new.

Why focus groups are important

Focus groups offer plenty of opportunities for finding new pain points and understanding how your brand is landing with your audience. Because the moderator can interact with participants, it allows you to introduce specific themes and drill down into responses in a live environment.
Because we offer a truly worldwide service, we can recruit participants in any country and assign you a dedicated point of contact for your project. This means you’ll get answers in participants’ own language - use our range of
Translation Services to qualify this data and get a richer understanding of your global market.
